How this works, end to end
No cleverness, no algorithm worth bragging about. A short form and, for now, a waiting list.
Get on the list
No company gets your details until you say yes to it by name.
You are on the list.
No provider in Laguna Woods is taking requests through this service yet. We are lining them up, and yours is kept until one can.
- Nobody gets your details yet. Your request stays with us and is not passed to any company.
- One email when someone can help. When a provider covering your area can take it on, we email you once and ask whether you want that company, by name, to contact you.
- Deleted after 90 days. If nobody can take it on, or you do not say yes, your contact details are deleted 90 days after your request.
- You decide, or you do not. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to pay us.
Nobody will call you about this request unless you say yes to a company by name.
Right now: a waiting list
No provider in your area is taking requests through this service yet. Requests made now are kept by us and given to no company. When a provider covering your area can take yours on, we email you once and ask whether you want that company, by name, to contact you. If you do not say yes within 90 days of your request, your contact details are deleted.
How you get from here to a quote
There is no phone call to make and nothing to install. It is a form, and then contractors ring you.
Tell us about the roof
Three taps. The questions exist so contractors know whether to send a repair tech or a re-roof estimator.
We match it locally
Your request goes to contractors who actually work Laguna Woods and the surrounding area, filtered by the kind of job it is.
We keep it until someone can help
Nobody gets your details yet. When a provider covering your area can take it on, we email you once and you decide.
Illustrative photographs of roofing work in general. Not photographs of jobs arranged through this site.
It costs you nothing. The contractors pay for the introduction. There is no bill at any point.
Nothing is booked. You are agreeing to be quoted, not to have work done.
What we do, and what we do not
Foundry Roof Works is a matching service. We are not a licensed roofing contractor, we do not carry roofing crews, and nobody from this company will ever come to your house. What we do is take your request and hand it to independent roofing companies working in Laguna Woods and the surrounding Orange County area.
The contract, the work, the warranty and the liability all sit between you and the contractor you choose. We are not a party to it, we take no share of the job, and we cannot make anybody honour anything. That is why the checks below matter and why we tell you to do a couple of them yourself.
How contractors get into the network
- They provide certificates of general liability and workers compensation insurance.
- They give us a state contractor licence number, which must be current.
- They accept that a request outside their real coverage area is not one they will be sent.
- They agree to the three-contractor cap and to contacting you only about the request you submitted.
It removes the obviously unqualified. It cannot tell you whether a crew will show up on the Tuesday they promised. Check the licence with the state board and ask for current insurance, every time, whoever sent them.
What happens to your information
At most three companies see your details, and they see them because you asked to be quoted. Nothing goes to a data broker, an advertiser, or a list. The privacy policy sets out the detail, and the do-not-sell page is there if you would rather we did not share it at all.
Why it is free
Roofing contractors pay us for the introduction. That is the whole business model, and we would rather state it plainly than let you wonder. It also means the incentive runs the right way: a contractor who annoys homeowners does not stay in the network, because the requests stop being worth what they cost.
Start with a free estimate
Free, no obligation, and your details go to no company until you say yes.
